A new layer of complexity eventually arises with photography. How do I re-create another photo with so much amazing beauty? Like that gorgeous sunrise in the forest photo that I was lucky enough to snap up while camping? How do I make a photo with all that awesome beauty happen once again? Where do I need to stand and point my camera this time?

It goes without saying but if you’re taking pictures for reasons besides your own inherent love of the subject matter, then maybe you should just go home instead. Perhaps you’re wasting your own time.

Photography is the act of recording a snapshot in time, with a power acquired through virtues bequeathed to modern humans with the advent of modern technology… Using a device that allows operators the ability to capture and record light, which comes from the sun.
In other words… Photography is documenting a moment in space and time, with colors that have been painted by the sun, using a camera.
