#1

PLAN AHEAD AND PREPARE
Maps, weather, water, camp locations, regulations, fragile areas, and other pertinent facts that will make your trip safe and rewarding.

#2

CAMP AND TRAVEL ON DURABLE SURFACES
Utilize existing trails and campsites whenever possible to reduce impact.

#3

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT
Dont Litter.

#4

PROPERLY DISPOSE OF WHAT YOU CAN’T PACK OUT
Human waste should be buried in a “cat-hole”. Between 4″ and 8″ underground and away from water sources, trails, and campsites. Pack out toilet paper.

#5

LEAVE WHAT YOU FIND
Historical sites, archeological sites, and natural resources should be left undisturbed. Don’t fuck with them.

#6

MINIMIZE USE AND IMPACT OF FIRES
If no fire ring is present, a new one is not necessary. Fire rings don’t prevent the unrestrained spread of fire, but they do leave unsightly scars.
